WRADA Kenya
What We Do
At WRADA, we work to advance the rights, health, dignity, and well-being of women who use drugs — through evidence-based programs, advocacy, and community-led initiatives anchored on five key pillars.
Our Five Programme Pillars
Shaping Policy. Building Evidence.
We advocate for policies and legal frameworks that protect the rights of women who use drugs, while generating evidence through research to inform programs, policy decisions, and public discourse.
Strengthening Knowledge, Skills & Leadership.
We strengthen the knowledge, skills, and leadership of women who use drugs, community organizations, service providers, and stakeholders to enhance effective participation and service delivery.
Safer Practices. Better Health Outcomes.
We provide harm reduction information, education, and support services that promote safer practices, improve health outcomes, and reduce drug-related harms among women and their communities.
Solidarity. Amplified Voices. Collective Action.
We foster solidarity, leadership, and collective action by creating platforms that amplify the voices of women who use drugs and strengthen community networks for sustainable change.
Lives Transformed. Communities Strengthened.
We measure and showcase the outcomes of our work — highlighting the lives transformed, communities strengthened, policies influenced, and partnerships built in advancing health, human rights, and social justice.
Rooted in Community,
Driven by Rights.
Every pillar of our work centres the voices, dignity, and leadership of women who use drugs. Together, we build a more just and equitable society across East Africa.
